Duggar won’t need surgery; season likely over

CHICAGO — Steven Duggar and the Giants received good news during his visit with Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles. Duggar found out the injured AC joint in his left shoulder will not require surgery.

Duggar was placed on the 10-day injured list with a sprained left AC joint on Aug. 8 before being transferred to the 60-day IL on Aug. 9.
