THIS IS A CALL FOR AN UPRISING!

We start a series against the DODGERS tonight and our SF Giants are in desperate need of a win. Okay honestly? I am in desperate need of a win but only because of who we are playing. Victory has never been a priority for me, I love my team whether they win or lose. I just don’t care that much about winning-unless we are playing the DODGERS-then I care. I care very much.

LA sprinted right up to first place early on with their record breaking home-runs (Manchurian? Just sayin’) and they have done nothing less than dig in even deeper!

Let’s forget for a minute that we are 17 or so games behind them even that wouldn’t really matter but I love my ball team and I want them to be happy.

I have a hard time believing that these boys are happy. I don’t feel the happiness spewing out of the dugout and all I really wants are healthy happy faces on my boys! I’m certainly not insinuating that these guys aren’t professionals-familiar with both sides of the coin- able to shake off a loss and move on. Unfortunately I was there when the magic happened, as I’m sure most of you were, and I refuse to believe we can’t get that “great vibe” once again.

2010 Matt Cain “This is awesome! We’ve been coming to Spring Training trying to get this done and prepare for the season. We came in with a great vibe this year, with everybody working together, staying together, loving each other and we just played ball well. We didn’t worry when we got down at times and we just went ahead and played.”

I know if we all think back and relive some of that excitement in our minds the magic just very well may spread and hopefully to our beloved SF Giants! We may not succeed but after all this is baseball season so let’s get the most out of it.

What was going on in 2010, 2012 and 2014 was the kind of magic a bunch of guys who are great friends and teammates can produce.
In 2010 Chris Haft called it “admirable balance” between those players who displayed “freshness and energy that revitalized the atmosphere”.

Bochy “They’re really pulling for each other even when they’re not in there

and that’s what you need: 25 guys who are all on the same page and want the same thing”

and what I want is for us to BEAT THE DODGERS!

So please SF GIANTS FANS dust off your bobble-heads, get out your lucky jerseys your banners and flags. Go put on your Panda hat, your sombrero or rally cap, shake up that snow globe, cuddle up to that Gnome!

LETS GO GIANTS
BEAT LA!
